On August ix, 2022 there may be principal elections for one or both of the major parties.  In order to vote in the Democratic master, yous must be registered every bit a Democrat. Likewise, to vote in the Republican primary you must be registered equally a Republican.

Deadlines for Possible Primary

May ix, 2022- Deadline for an elector to change from one political party (not Unaffiliated) to another party and be eligible to vote in the new political party's chief.

About the Registrars of Voters Role

The office of the Registrars of Voters is governed by Connecticut State Statutes. The primary duties of the Registrars are to register new voters, maintain voter registration records and enrollment records, publish lists of eligible voters, conduct a state-required sail of all voters, compile monthly reports of all activities concerning voters in boondocks, and administrate and oversee all elections, primaries and referenda in an accurate and impartial way. They are also responsible for hiring and preparation over 200 official poll workers besides equally maintaining all voting equipment used for the election.

The Registrars of Voters Office is a vital department to the office of the Boondocks's government. The Office is governed by Connecticut General Statutes and financially supported by the Municipality. Ensuring fair, accurate and efficient elections is our highest priority.

Registration Requirements

To register to vote, you must be a U.S. denizen, a resident of the town in which yous wish to vote and at least 17 years of age and turning 18 on or before election day.
